It is the objective of the Academy to become the most comprehensive resource for all things related to Pas De Deux in the world. The Pas De Deux Academy is the embodiment of a dream by Sean Cronin to, once and for all, make the full range of skills, techniques and lifts of Pas De Deux available to all that wish to learn instead of only those fortunate few that have access to a qualified instructor. The three primary functions of the Academy will include:

1. Provide Instructional Videos to learn how to master the art of Pas De Deux. We at the academy believe that those talented individuals that can master the skills demonstrated on this DVD series will be the ones that help to define this art form for generations to come. We believe that the Graduates of this course, which represents the most comprehensive collection of Pas De Deux skills and techniques available, will be regarded as, and looked to, as the “experts” in the field for years to come.

2. A registry will be maintained for all graduates of the Pas De Deux Academy. Casting Directors, talent scouts, producers of music videos, etc. all know that literally any dance routine can be enhanced with Pas De Deux but up until now there has been no access to a directory of those dancers who are skilled in the art of Pas De Deux. The Academy will now serve as the one-stop-shop for anyone looking for dancers with these special Pas De Deux abilities.

3. Online Directory of Studios, Companies, Programs and Suppliers. To become the most comprehensive resource for all things related to Pas De Deux, the Academy invites all dance studios, dance companies, academic dance programs and companies that supply anything dance related, to submit their details to be added to our database. Over time we hope that our database will become the world’s most complete of its kind and will become an invaluable resource to the dance world as a whole.
